Energy Storage -

With rising population and an increased demand on energy, effective storage methods and technology are evolving at a rapid pace. The morning session will focus on new storage technologies, including solid state batteries, compressed air storage, solar and hydro power energy storage. The afternoon sessions will focus more on the real world applications for these technologies as well as policy, innovation and industry uses for energy storage (i.e. environmental, biomedical and defense). The Center for Research in Extreme Batteries (CREB) will be holding a joint workshop on the same day. Plenary sessions will include both CREB and other participants, while the breakout sessions will run in parallel.
