Join the Maryland Energy Administration as we transform energy in the State of Maryland.

Building on the Md Strategic Energy Investment Fund, the EmPOWER Maryland Energy Efficiency Act, and the strengthened Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard, you will have an unprecedented opportunity to work on the cutting edge of energy policy. We are looking for the best and the brightest to join our team as we are quickly making Maryland one of the nation’s leaders in energy.

The Maryland Energy Administration currently has several positions available, including:

Administrative Director – Manages agency operations, including budgeting, reporting, procurement and supervising administrative staff.

Clean Energy Division Director – Leads effort to promote renewable energy and clean energy economic development in Maryland.

Regulatory Strategy and Planning Director - Identifies critical energy policy concerns and coordinates appropriate direction and resolution.

Compliance Officer - Implements plan to ensure grantee compliance with state and federal laws and program requirements, including training and grantee on-site monitoring, as needed.

Energy Assurance Planning Manager - Develops and implements energy assurance plans, and monitor/manage State and local energy assurance needs.

Communications Program Manager – Leads agency’s communications, marketing and press relations.
